The Self-Service Kiosk Management module allows banks and processors to deliver a wide variety of automated services to their customers without implementing enhanced services on traditional ATMs. By implementing self-service kiosks at bank branches or other public areas, ATMs can now be used mostly for cash advance services, while bill payment, account management and information services are provided through specialised kiosks.
The limitations of traditional ATM NDC+/DDC protocols often block the implementation of advanced customer-centric interaction at the point-of-service. Today, all major terminal vendors are exploring new-generation XML-based protocols such as IFX.
WAY4 Self-Service Kiosk Management has been designed to manage these protocols. It allows new services to be configured from the hostinstead of through terminal-level programming and is based on the "thin-client" concept.
